Buds Auto is a family owned and operated auto repair shop in Lisbon, IA founded in 1998 by Bud and Denise Gillespie. After 20 years of running a successful business, they decided to step away from the shop and turned over ownership to Luke Mayhew in 2018.
From 2005 to 2015, Luke actually worked for Bud's Auto as a mechanic who wore many hats. At that time, he decided to pursue other ventures and started his own business in construction. Not long after that, his passion for working on cars resurfaced and he went back to Buds Auto, but this time, pursuing a new venture as owner.
Luke and his wife, Michelle, reside in Lisbon with their five kids. At their home, they have 2 dogs, a cat, and a pet pig named Lola, who always steals the show.
